The St. John the Baptist Parish Tax Office is operated pursuant to an agency agreement between ACI St. John, LLC (an Assured Compliance, Inc. company) and the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board and Sheriff's Office, for the collection of sales, use, occupancy (hotel/motel), occupational license, chain store, and insurance premium taxes for the Parish of St. John the Baptist. With more than tweny years of service, this arrangement was the first of its kind in Louisiana and a testament to St. John the Baptist Parish’s innovativeness and commitment to its citizens and businesses. St. John the Baptist Parish understands the necessity for fiscal responsibility, maximizing capabilities and improving services. Towards that end, they have chosen Assured Compliance, Inc. to operate these integral tax collection functions.
